What is Skin Botox?
Skin Botox, also known as MesoTox or Intradermal Botox, is a uniquely Korean innovation. Unlike traditional Botox that targets facial muscles, Skin Botox involves injecting highly diluted botulinum toxin superficially into the dermis across a broad area.
The key innovation is the technique and dilution. Skin Botox uses significantly more diluted toxin (2–4 times more dilute) injected at a shallow depth through dozens of micro-injection points. At this level, the toxin affects sebaceous glands (reducing oil), arrector pili muscles (reducing pore visibility), and sweat glands (creating matte texture).
